Past

Sparks began in 1999 when a group of artists and designers came together to put on exhibitions. We drew on our many disciplines – including illustration, fine art, photography and typography – and emphasised collaboration over competition.

From our exhibitions came opportunities to work with other artists and charities. Often, they wanted to break free from the bland and predictable imagery of their industry or subculture. We shared that vision. And our business ventures grew from there.
