Lightness and Calm
We have been delighted to design a catalogue for the artwork installed at the new Altnagelvin Hospital, Northern Ireland, which specifically commissioned for a new extension on the South Wing.
The book builds on a theme of Lightness and Calm which was the theme running through the 39 commissioned art pieces. Our unique format and design of the catalogue is conceptually linked with the architectural vision of the building. Built on top of a hill, Altnagelvin Hospital offers unique panoramas of the surrounding area, which was reflected in the books pagination and layout. Our design made use of short and long page widths to reflect the hospital's unique architectural situation that enables visitor's to connect to the outdoor views.
